**TIMID KITTEN** Meet Cole. This darling came to us as a very scared, very timid little boy. He has since been in foster and has come a long way, but has a bit more to go. Cole is an independent and playful kitten. He loves exploring, racing around and a good rough and tumble with his brother, CC. To save your curtains he will need a good scratching pole! In foster care, he was very smoochy towards the resident large, gentle dog. He could live with other pets (or his brother, CC!) given slow introductions. Cole can be affectionate with humans, but on his own terms. He does not like being picked up and is still scared of quick movements. He will accept pats when relaxing and is actually starting to enjoy them! Cole would not suit a family with children as his play is rough and he would not welcome the attention. Cole will need time to settle into a new home, and owners who are patient and willing to let him come out of his shell in his own time. Food motivated, Cole can easily be won over with treats and he is still learning his manners around human food!
