TESS IS NOT SUITABLE FOR APARTMENT LIVING.
Hey, my name’s Tess and I am a fairly laid back senior girl who loves to nap during the day. I’m ideally looking for a low-set home, preferably no stairs, with an older family who will be home more often than not.
I absolutely LOVE human company and knowing that someone is home with me. My foster Mum says I would benefit from having a furry sibling who is a similar or smaller size, plus similar age to me. I’m not overly keen on dogs who are bigger than me, but I have been enjoying the company of my furry foster sister who is the same size and just 2 years younger than me.
I have arthritis in my back legs, which my foster Mum says I will be receiving Metacam for, but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying my late afternoon/early evening walks! I love going for walks, it’s so fun sniffing all those new smells.
I am a bit of a grandma and I do like to head to bed early at night. I do usually need to get up for the toilet at 5am as I am an early morning riser. I’m also partial to really comfy beds to curl up in at night.
I don’t live with any cats or chickens and I’m not overly sure about little people. Older people I adore and while they’re sitting watching TV, or studying like my foster Mum, I’ll come in to check on them and ask for a good pat and ear scratch before happily going back to snoozing or doing a perimeter check of the yard.
I also love food time, be that if you’re in the kitchen making food for yourself or when it’s my own dinnertime.
Medical notes
Tess has arthritis in her legs which will require ongoing medication.
