About Cue
Who says black beauty is a fictional character?!
Introducing Cue. This absolutely stunning, girl gets noticed everywhere she goes, but she has so much more to offer than just amazingly good looks.
Cue loves spending her days cuddled up on the couch with you and never says no to a good scratch. But don’t get me wrong this girl is far from lazy and loves being part of the action. She enjoys long bush walks where she can show off how athletic she is. She will jump with no effort all the way up the stony cliff edges to explore every rock and tree, and she’s back down in 2 seconds without making any footing mistakes. Cue loves the water and dives in to splash around as happy as a duck in water.
Cue loves her people and has the sweetest demeanour. When meeting new people she is great when they are calm and give her the chance to get a good sniff in first before saying hello but if they try to rush her she can be a bit shy and unsure. She can get a bit overexcited sometimes and her exuberance needs to be tamed! She will need owners who can be pack leaders and remind her not to jump or mouth when she is excited.
This girl has good manners when she wants to (usually if there is food involved!) and she is a super smart dog who is food motivated. Cue can already sit, drop, shake, spin, stay and walks nicely on the lead. She also has good recall off lead but as with anything if you don’t practice it starts to get sloppy. Cue would be a great adventure partner as she travels well in the car and loves to sniff everything. Without consistent and firm guidance she can sway from the path of good behaviour so she needs a family who are willing to consistently put in the training and boundaries. She also requires daily mental stimulation such as nose work activities (finding hidden treats) and play time.
Cue thoroughly enjoys going to the dog park. Never have to fear with the little terrors running around or the large boisterous ones, she finds a way to enjoy them all. She loves to run circles at the park and enjoys a lot of bitey face play. She can be very exuberant in play and is best matched to dogs more her size that she can rumble with. It would be great for her to have a play buddy at home that she can romp with.
We are looking for a home where Cue will be a loved member of the family and included in the daily activities and outings. She must have a home with another suitable dog for company and play or where someone is home most of the time. She will need significant daily exercise and stimulation to keep her happy and healthy. Due to her size (around 40kg and tall) she will need a home with older or no children (around 15yrs +) and she has not been cat tested. This special girl will be a great dog to go out exploring the world with but does need a family committed to keeping her in check.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
