About Coco
Due to current Covid-19 restrictions we are only taking enquiries from people outside of Melbourne and Mitchell Shire areas.
Please meet Coco.
Darling Coco enjoys the quiet life. She loves her cuddles and is extremely happy having a kitty friend to share her days with.
Coco's parents saw the changes in her when they first had children. They said she became very stressed and anxious when they arrived and she didn't seem her happy self any more. She began urinating in the wrong places and her family, much to their heartbreak, decided that the best thing for her would be to find her a calmer home.
As it turned out, they were correct. Coco has not had a single accident since she arrived at her foster home where she is currently living with her foster mum and a cheeky, young cat who she has been happy to hang out with.
***For this reason, she will not be suited to a home with young children or dogs***
Coco really seems to enjoy company. She has never been on her own which is why we think it is important for her to continue having a feline friend in her new home. She has always had a kitty pal and seems to really settle with their company.
For her to be her happiest, she will be looking for a home where she will have a friendly, desexed cat to share her days with.
While she has been in her foster home, Coco has won the heart of her foster mum and the resident cat. She will be missed and her mum says she will miss her littel chats with Coco. She is very vocal and is always up for a chat in the morning or as a greeting when she arrives home.
She has a beautiful nature and loves to share her time with her special friends.
Coco has some teeth removed (see medical notes) and her carer said that even though she hated her medicine, she never once scratched her while she was giving her her daily dose and she was happy to have a special cuddle afterwards.
An indoor only home will be an absolute MUST for Coco to keep her safe and to help her maintain her beautiful long coat. She will require the occasional brush to keeo her looking her very best.
Please read Coco medical records for further information.
If you have the perfect hoem for this adorable lady, we look forward to hearing from you.
Coco is currently in Ballarat, Victoria
Medical notes
Since coming to us, Coco has had 3 teeth removed and the vet said she has also had teeth removed previously. Both upper carnassial teeth due to slab fractured and the remaining upper premolar as it was loose.
3 lower premolars have periodontal disease and some retraction of gum leaving partial root exposure but teeth are still sound and no inflammation. No pain so no further treatment required.
Coco has inset eyes which the vet said are comon for her breed. They do occasionally become slightly irritated at times. 2 vet visits for this both agreeing there is no treatment and salt water wipes are the only real solution when they become irritated.
Otherwise happy, healthy girl
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
