About Chase ~ sweet 2yo English Staffy (On Trial 13/6/20
This boy with the cute little underbite is Chase. Chase is a 2 year old English staffy with a loving, affectionate nature. Through no fault of his own we are helping Chase find a forever home where he can get all the pats he loves.
Being a young dog, Chase can be quite energetic at times, and he loves a game of fetch. However after running his energy out, he’s usually happy lazing around for the rest of the day!
Chase knows a couple of basic commands but is looking for an owner or family who can take the time to work with him on his training, including walking on a lead.
Chase gets along with others dogs so he may be suited to living with another dog - but he would love to have as much time with his family as possible, so being an only dog would suit him just fine. Chase lives with a cat who he likes to play with, so he may be suited to a home with cats (we always recommend a slow introduction).
Chase is mostly an outside dog at the moment, but he would love to be able to come inside and be part of the family. Chase is great with kids, but he can bowl them over in his excitement, so probably isn’t suited to children under 8.
Chase is a good guard dog. He can be a chewer, but this would be managed by providing regular exercise and enrichment.
Chase will need secure fencing. He is currently located in the Lake Macquarie area, NSW.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
