About Bella
~ Meet Bella ~
Heterochromia iridis is a rare (and often strikingly gorgeous) condition in which animals, including humans, have two different coloured eyes. Think David Bowie, Kate Bosworth and now our very own beautiful Bella. Heterochromia occurs as a result of excess or lack of melanin in one eye. It’s a harmless individual variation that makes Bella just that much more special.
Bella is simply stunning and has the softest, most velvety fur on her head and ears. She is a very gentle and calm girl. Bella does need some extra time to feel completely at ease with the new people that she meets, but once you win her trust, she is very loving and affectionate.
Bella is an easy girl to walk and would be content with a leisurely daily work. Bella is at her happiest just being by your side and keeping you company as you go about your day.
Bella does enjoy the company of non-boisterous canine friends however she is a little fearful of cats. Although Bella is dog friendly she would prefer to be a companion for someone wanting a friend in their life.
We feel Bella would blossom being in a non-hectic home environment where she will be allowed inside with her new family and given lots of love.
If you can offer Bella a loving home that she deserves, we would love to hear from you.
Medical notes
Bella recently had a low grade cancerous lump successfully removed from her side.
