About Maple ~ 1yr Old Female DSH (On Trial 30/08/20)
Meet beautiful smoochy Maple! This girl is one special cat. She gets on with everyone- humans, other cats, dogs (calm ones), and kids. She will occasionally pull her fellow felines into line with a hiss or a swipe if they are being cheeky, but she is almost bombproof with other animals as long as she is given time to warm up to them.
Maple is a chatty girl and loves pats and nose kisses. She is looking for a home where she will be invited onto the human bed to sleep and given access to food at all times! Maple is extremely food-focused! She is still getting used to the fact that her next meal is guaranteed so she tends to be very interested in what the humans are eating 🙈
Mumma Maple was dropped off at a pound 2 weeks before giving birth and we didn't want her to have to raise her babies in a cage so we brought her into a home environment with a foster carer. We don't have any information about her background but Maple definitely would have been a pet in the past as she is a very confident girl.
Maple's babies have now been adopted and her surrogate babies are almost old enough to be adopted also. Yes, that's right- surrogate babies! We told you she was special. When Maple's own babies were 3 weeks old she took on two more 1 week old kittens as her own and has done a beautiful job raising them!
Maple’s adoption fee is $180. This lovely lady is sure to make someone very
happy. Maple is in foster care in Mayfield, NSW. She will be available from 12/06/20 after all her vet work has been done. Her adoption fee includes desexing, microchip, vaccinations, worm and flea treatment.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
