About Jed ~ sweet Bull Arab x puppy (On trial 9/6/20)
Jed is a beautiful 9 week old Bull Arab x puppy looking for his forever home. He has only been with DRN a short time, but in this time he has shown that he is a happy, healthy boy, who loves affection and attention. He is very playful and loves a good wrestle with his sisters who are currently fostered with him.
Jed can be timid when meeting other dogs, but slowly comes out of his shell as he warms to them. He is gradually becoming comfortable around his much bigger foster siblings. Jed is super cuddly, and is often found on the lounge sleeping snuggled up to his foster parents and their children. He will be a wonderful family dog.
Jed will grow to be a medium to large dog and will benefit greatly from training. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training. It would also be good if someone in the household doesn't work full time.
Jed needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. You will need good fencing 5-6 ft high with no small gaps, unfortunately rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire) is not suitable.
As Jed is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 6 months old.
Jed's sisters: Skylar and Daisy are also available for adoption.
For more information or to meet Jed, please contact Sarah at sarahsrescues@gmail.com . Jed is in the Lake Macquarie area, NSW (south of Newcastle). You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Jed's adoption fee is $550 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms.

(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
