About Apollo
Hi friends, my name is Apollo and I can't wait my new family!
My story is a little different to most of the kitties here, I had a mum who loved me very very much but due to things outside of her control we had to part ways. My mum entrusted Second Chance Animal Rescue to find me a family that loves me just as much as she did!
I'm a big boy with an even bigger personality, some people might say I have some quirks but they are just what makes me me.
I love car rides and my favourite way to experience them is to wear my harness and be secured outside of the carrier. I love watching the world go by and feeling the wind in my whiskers. When I'm not going for road trips you can usually find me chilling on the window ledge sunning myself or on my cat bed which must be located on your bed or the couch, obviously.
I'm a super smooch and will never turn down a good chin scratch or a belly rub but I don't really like being picked up. I find having my paws off the ground a little scary. I've spent some time with young children and I can confidently say I'm not too fond of their company, if my new family has children they will need to be over 10 years of age.
I would LOVE for my new home to have another chilled out adult cat for me to play with, but no doggies please they are not my cup of tea. If I don't have a cat to play with don't worry I can easily entertain myself by running full speed up and down the hallway and chasing my favourite fluffy mouse toy.
I will need an indoor only home to keep me safe. I have been banned from wearing collars because I instantly try to chew them off and usually get them stuck in my mouth which is not a fun time.
If you have room in your heart and home for a new best friend then send through an enquiry, do it!!
