About Lennie
Lennie is a playful and cheeky ball of energy who ADORES cuddles and belly rubs from his people. Lennie loves to be around people even if you’re not actively giving him attention, he just loves to see what you’re up to. If he want attention he will let you know with a little whine to say “hey I need some play or cuddles”. Lennie would best suit a home with someone home a lot that he can have playtime and cuddle time with.
Lennie is eager to learn new tricks especially when encouraged with food. He already knows to sit, wait for his food, lay down, and is doing well with lead training. He is still working on his toilet training but is doing well with reminders. Lennie is crate trained for night sleeps and will sleep through all night with a cuddle toy.
Lennie has loved chasing his older foster brother in fetch and has even started to learn the game himself. He is extremely playful with other dogs and occasionally likes to herd them up too. He would love a home with another doggy to play with.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment after covid please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.
We have conducted DNA testing on the litter and results will be provided to their new families. DNA results showed breeds as Kelpie, Border Collie, Deerhound, and Greyhound
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
