Hi there. I’m Alfie. I’m a 10-month-old Kelpie boy.💕

I’m a sweet boy and I’m looking for my forever family. I’d best suit an active family that will include me in their everyday lives. I’m a super social boy and just love playing with other dogs. My new home MUST have another dog. I need a home with space to run.

Since coming into foster care I’ve started my basic training. I’m food motivated & enjoy my training sessions. I’m a clever boy & learn quickly. I’m learning my name & to sit & wait patiently for my food. I have also started my lead training and am getting used to walking with one. I go on bush walks with my foster family and foster siblings and don’t stray far from mum. I will need someone who is willing to continue my training to keep building my confidence.

I currently sleep outside in a lovely warm kennel with my foster brothers. I’m a good boy and sleep quietly through the night. I live with cats but I would prefer my home have NO kitties as they terrify me. If they run I will chase them. I also live with chickens and pay no attention to them in their enclosure or when they have free range time, although I have not yet been in the same yard with them.

I’m searching for a family who understands the needs of working breeds. A home that can provide me with both physical & mental stimulation to help me be the best boy I can be. If you think you can provide me with my perfect forever home my foster mum would love to hear from you.
