About Meisha
Hi there, my name is Meisha and I am a gorgeous Russian Blue X girl who came into the rescue together with my sibling Nina.
My foster mumma says I am the quieter one of the 2 of us. Not really timid just a little more gentle in comparison with extroverted sister.
There are many things she says she loves about me, like me beautiful eyes which are half emerald green, my beautiful soft coat and she thinks it's a bonus that she gets zero allergies - usually she gets allergies with other breeds...
Some other things she thinks makes me adorable is the way I walk in and will just flop onto/ beside her feet - this means I want a pat. The way I purr really loudly when she pats me, behind the ears or under the chin is best but occasionally a tummy rub is good to. She also likes the way I do my cute little whimper sounding snoring when I sleep.
My usual day consists of breakfast in the morning, followed by play time until mid morning, then it's nap time on and off until foster mum finishes work, then dinner and some more play time before bed.
Play time is great!! either chasing my sister, playing in the cat tunnel, chasing the laser dot, or this strange star on a string that foster mummy gets out. I also really love playing and batting around in the air - nurf darts... but not all of my play things need to be fancy.... just the tip of your finger on the edge of a couch or under a blanket... those are the best to pounce on!!

Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks (for dogs) / 6 weeks (for cats) sometimes more, see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
