Jimmy and Timmy

**Due to high level of interest in Jimmy and Timmy, we are not accepting further applications at this time, while we review existing interest. **

Jimmy and Timmy are bonded brothers, who would be quite lost without each other!

They are happy to have their own space sometimes, but always find a way back to each other’s side. They would do well together in a house with no young children and would not mind living in a house with an existing cat. A home without a dog would be preferred, as they have not been exposed to them.

The boys were homeless, until rescued at around 4 months old, so they are still adjusting to living in a home and interacting with humans. Therefore, they will require patient humans who will help them build confidence and trust. We promise, you will be rewarded in time.

Jimmy (ginger) is a smart, quiet, and cuddly little boy who will open up to the right people when he is ready, and when he does, you will see the sweet and funny personality he hides! He loves to roll around and get pats and scratches (especially at the base of his tail) and loves to play. He would love to lay next to you on the couch and ask for pats.

He is a very polite boy and will let Timmy play with all his toys, even if he was not quite finished playing with them yet. He is very snuggly and will seek you out to get the cuddles and love he needs. He has become very intrigued by the bathroom and will want to investigate the shower after it has been used and has water in it!

He is the brainy kitten and can always find the warmest spot in the house. He knows when food is being given to him to lure him into bed, and he knows to avoid this food at all costs. He will only come to bed when we give him the special treats. He has the sweetest and quietest meows and will grow in to a happy and well-adjusted house cat.

Timmy (ginger and white) is the brawny one of the two. He is boisterous, chatty, and loves to play. When he finds a toy that he likes, he’ll pick it up in his mouth and carry it to his “lair” (usually underneath the dining table) and will playfully growl at Jimmy to tell him “this is mine!”.

He loves to chatter away and sounds like a bird most of the time. He will come find you and flop in front of you, signalling that he wants pats and he wants them now! He will reward you with purrs and will “knead” the air with his paws. He is first in line for food and will meow loudly until his demands are met!

He loves watching the tv, especially when there are sports on. It is very funny to watch. He is besotted by our cat and loves following her around the house. He has learned a lot from her about jumping, chasing, cleaning himself, and stalking, and he has helped Jimmy learn from her as well. He will grow into a homebody that will make you laugh a lot!
