About Tarquin
Are you looking for a friend to share your active lifestyle. Tarquin is a 1-year-old staffy cross who is outgoing and friendly. He gets on well with other dogs. However due to his boisterous nature he is not recommended for small children or animals. Tarquin was rescued from a pound as a small puppy and has grown up on a farm with his foster carer and 11 other dogs. He has learnt to sit, is very responsive to training and will benefit from continued training in his new home. He loves to carry things in his mouth and could be taught to carry buckets, baskets - a real trick dog. Tarquin is not suited to farm life as he likes to explore his environment so will need secure fencing. Tarquin is located in Cootamundra.
Adoption details
Our goal is to match pets' personalities and exercise/training requirements with people whose lifestyle they are best suited to. This reduces the chances of the pet winding up in a pound again. Please don't feel offended by our adoption process, it is for everyone's and every animal's benefit:
1. Submit application for adoption (obtain at Best Friends Pet Rescue website).
2. Homechecks are conducted on short-listed approved applicant(s).
3. Best match selected according to the pet's personality and needs.
4. Successful applicant notified, and must place holding deposit while transport/pickup arrangements made.
5. Adoption transaction completed.
