About Topaz
Topaz was surrendered to the RSPCA with his brothers and sisters. They had all had minimal socialisation, and were very nervous about being in a new situation. Slowly, the staff and volunteers at the RSPCA Animal Care Centre have gained his trust and worked on his people skills. He was then placed into foster care with a lovely volunteer, who had another dog and plenty of room for him to grow.
Topaz will need consistent and positive training. He needs to be reminded that he is a good boy and that you will take care of him. Topaz is very tolerant of other dogs and would love to find forever home with another well socialised dog to show him how to act. He can be so tolerant at times that he will let other dogs walk all over him, so he will need his new owners to be able to read the situation and step in to help him when needed.
Topaz's favourite things are potatoes, cuddles and shoes. He loves bush walks and beach strolls and is socialised with horses and chickens. He is crate trained for his own safety, as he will try and escape when left alone.
He is currently in Foster Care, so you will need to make an appointment to come in and meet him.
