IMPORTANT NOTICE

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING FOR A DOG

We are very concerned about the health of our volunteers and their families.
To protect them, we require you to read the following and answer honestly before any meet and greets can be organised.

IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS

Any of these symptoms, or any family member displaying, we ask you to wait before applying for a dog -

* Coughing or sneezing
* runny or blocked nose
* shortness of breath
* high temperature or fever
* sore throat
* aches or pains
* other flu like symptoms

If you have returned from overseas or been on a cruise anywhere in the world, please do not apply within 2 weeks of your return to Australia.

If you are in self isolation, please do not apply, you need to stay at home.

Thank you for valuing our carers health, knowing that a false declaration will endanger them and any future animals that we would be unable to help.

Delany is a beautiful girl who absolutely loves being with her family, she is looking for a home where she will receive the frequent attention she deserves. Company is her favourite thing.

Delany is great with older bigger dogs and would like to have a resident friend if they are ok with her being an attention hog, she isn't a fan of small or overly playful canines. She has not been tested with cats. If there are children in the family it is best they are older as she doesn't quite know her size and strength.

This affectionate lass adores cuddles and likes to have a good chat. She will talk to you when excited, when anxious, when she is meeting someone new and when she sees other dogs out and about, she's a bit of a chatterbox really. Her volume can go either way depending on the situation and your ability to keep her stimulation levels in the green.

Delany has been trying hard to work on her leash skills and manners, but will need to continue her schooling to master them. She will only learn if you are committed to teaching her. Age is but a number, Delany does not act like a typical 9 year old! She is full of life and will really thrive with a dedicated and loving home with a good size yard for her to explore and play in.
