About Squirrel
Squirrel was surrendered at ~14-16weeks of age because he required some dental work!
His jaw is a little funky so his incisors (front teeth) grew abnormally and don’t wear down like they should. His molars (back teeth) have no abnormalities.
Because of this, he was unable to eat and had to have them trimmed. Rabbit teeth continually grow so they will cause him ongoing issues. He has since had his incisors surgically removed so that he is able to eat more normally and can live a long and happy life!
Squirrel is such a funny rabbit with so much personality.
He just LOVES a head scratch and consistently does multiple exaggerated flops onto his back each day.
Squirrel is a Netherland Dwarf X and weighs in at only 1kg!
Medical notes
Squirrel has had his incisors removed but this doesn't affect him much at all! The only thing he has trouble eating is hard treats such as compressed treats/carrots/apples that require him to bite pieces off of but if you break them up for him he has no issues :)
Squirrel has been sterilised, vaccinated & Microchipped
Adoption details
If you are interested in any of our available animals, please send us an email. We will send you through an adoption questionnaire which helps us to get to know you and to help match you with the right animal.
We will then arrange a day and time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If all goes well, we will have you sign an adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee and take home your newest addition for a two week trial period.
If during the trial period, you decide that this is not the right animal for your family, we can arrange for the animal to be returned to us and you will receive a full refund.
After the trial period, the animal may still be returned at any time but there will be no refund.
