About Fungi
Fungi is a handsome 11 month old Great Dane x Rotti x. This boy is an absolute sweetheart and can make your heart swell with love!
He loves to be with his humans as much as possible so ideally his new family will at least be home part time or have someone who works from home. He's loves in life are meeting dogs, meeting new people, cuddles and play time!
Fungi will cover you in kisses to show his appreciation and snuggle up right next to you.
While Fungi knows he's a big breed his heart tells himself he is little and therefore can curl up on your lap / sit right next to you - personal space after so much isolation is overrated isn't it???
Fungi is very intelligent and picks up commands very quickly. He will be a loyal companion to someone who can show him the love this amazing boy deserves.
Fungi is best suited to a home where he has a fur sibling of similar size / energy as a companion - he is great with all dogs but due to his age and size he can sometimes be a bit clumsy around small breed dogs.
Fungi is also great with cats and currently with a carer who them - no issues.
Fungi is great around kids and loves nothing more then to play with them - he may accidentally send one flying once in a while but the smiles and kisses he will give to say oops make it all worth it! (and lets face it what kids doesn't want to attempt to fly at least once in life!)
Fungi enjoys quality time inside with this humans but as he is still young he will need some on going training. Fungi is toilet trained
Are you ready to open your home to this amazing boy?
Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
