About Barney
This senior has had a pretty rough life, at 10 years old his mouth was full of rotten teeth and he still had not been desexed, his ears were also blocked with dirt and it looks like he did not have much in comforts as he was a bit unsure of what to do with a nice soft bed. He has had 11 teeth removed, desexed, ears treated and had a little lump removed, this little lump is a cancerous lesion which on pathology has been fully excised. However there remains the potential for local or distant spread. Barney has slowly been gaining weight and enjoying a very special diet of warm chicken breast to help him feel better.
Barney will need a very patient owner as he is deaf and doesn’t always see the best. His toileting habits are not the best so will need lots of guidance in a new home. We think Barney would also do well with a small doggy friend, or a nice dog friendly cat. If you would like more information on Barney or would like to meet him.
