About Tam
Tam's owner moved and unfortunately she wasn't able to take him along. He has taken a while to settle into his new living conditions with us at SAFE Haven but he has been amenable to pats right from the start which shows he is responsive but just a bit nervous.
Tam will need some reassurance that everything is OK in a new home. He is a 'social eater' and needs to be encouraged to eat but this will be a good and easy way to bond with him at home. Tam would be best suited to a mature household with either mature or no kids. It is essential that Tam is kept in a closed room at first and definitely for at least a few weeks so that he can get used to his new surroundings as he can easily be overwhelmed.
Tam is a handsome tabby cat who will return your love - it might just be a bit down the track ...
