Possum

Possum was incredibly timid when she came into care. We don't know what happened to her, but the poor girl appeared to be terrified & traumatised.

With lots of love & care & patience, Possum is doing so much better & is now ready to find her special someone.

Underneath all her lovely fluffy fur, Possum is quite petite. She's a gentle little lass, who won't give you love bites like some cats do.

Possum gets excited at dinner time. She head bumps her carer & purrs when she's eating.

She loves geting pats now, and leans into them. It's very sweet & shows how trusting she's becoming. Check out her video!

Possum isn't keen on being picked up, though, preferring to keep all four feet on the floor.

Possum loves all types of cat food and isn't a fussy eater. She loves shredded poached chicken as a treat though, so you'll definitely win her over if you offer her this 😊.

Possum needs a quiet home, with someone who's patient & willing to let her approach them in her own time.

Good with dogs? Yes, provided they're gentle
Good with cats? Only if placid & not dominant
Good with children? Only if older, quiet & won't try to pick her up
