About Josh
Let me introduce myself. My name is Josh and I come from the countryside. I’m currently learning about this pet business with the help of my two greyhound foster sisters. And let me tell you, I think it’s pretty amazing...who doesn’t love lazing around the couch or the dog bed all day?
I have learned quite a few things already, I can run up and down carpeted stairs! I had no idea there could be different levels in my kennel, ehhhm I think you call it a “house”!
This outside world is still a little scary for me! All these noises and people! My plan is to get used to this and enjoy my walks by sniffing around and you might be just right person to help me with that! It might be best if my furever home is in a quieter suburb.
You know, where I came from, I only got to know Greyhounds and once I lived with a Labrador. I noticed that there are so many other doggies out there and they confuse me, so it would be great if you don’t plan on taking me to a parks just yet, but I will enjoy the walkies with you!
My foster mum said that I am so much better and more relaxed with my greyhound sisters by my side, they help me understand this new world a bit better! It would be great if you have a friend for me, ideally a greyhound or a Labrador.
At home I am just a beautiful quiet sweetheart! I love to cuddle up and sleep soundly through the night. Do you want to be my person?
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. When responding to this post, please tell us:
• A bit about yourself, including your work patterns, and how often the dog will be home alone, and for how long at a time.
• About the people and pets you share your life with.
• The type and size of your residence / yard (is it securely fenced?)
• Where will your dog be kept when you're not at home? When you are at home? At night?
• Anything else you think will help us find the perfect dog for you!
