George Washington is an exceptionally handsome black and white boy who is looking for a single person, couple or a quiet family with older children to give him the life and the love he deserves.

After finding himself homeless and on the streets for a while, George has flourished in foster care but he can still get nervous and flee at loud activities, so we are looking for a quiet home for this very special boy.

George Washington has bucketloads of charisma; he is affectionate but on his terms – sometimes he wants to be cradled like a baby and other times he wants to do his own thing.

Because he is still a young cat, he has bursts of energy where he’ll zoom around the house and want to play with toys, but then he’ll seek out a warm spot for a cat nap.

George Washington needs someone who will let him sleep on the bed (he loves this) and who will appreciate his quirky, fun-loving style - he likes to sleep on his back all spread out when possible!

George enjoys being sung to, he will wind himself around your feet while you’re on the computer and he get super excited to greet you when you come home. And check out his adorable black heart-shaped nose!

With a lovely loud purr, George Washington is quite a vocal chap, but he is also wary of new people and will be a little shy at first. Once you make friends with him though, George Washington will bond deeply with you and reward you with plenty of purry love.

George Washington is fearful of dogs and would be best suited to being the only cat in your house. He also requires a meat-based diet as tinned food does not agree with him.
