Adoption details
Bear (male, fawn color) and Winnie (female, brown & white) came into rescue at 7 days old with their mum who has since been adopted. There were born 31.01.2020 and are 15 weeks old. They may be adopted separately to the right homes.
While both love, love, love love to play, chase, fetch and wrestle and are very active it is Winnie that likes to investigate, is the adventurer, the escape artist while Bear is more timid, a little unsure of the people and noises around him.
Ideally we would like these pups to go to homes where they will still have a little furry mate to play with but will not rule anything out. They currently live with dogs and cats (and want to play with them all!).
The pups sleep through the night in a crate without issue, however, although good with puppy pads they are not fully toilet trained when roaming free in the house.
They DO shed. They will also need grooming and the costs involved in this throughout their life.
As we are in the fortunate position where we expect a number of applications, we suggest you include all the information you think is relevant about the home and lifestyle you can offer. Including but not limited to the existing people and pets in the house, plus regular visitor such as grand kids etc, previous experience with puppies/dogs, exercise, sleeping arrangements etc. The small things may make all the difference so feel free to include anything you think may be relevant as to why you are a PERFECT match and not just a good match.
While we read every email, we will only reply to applicants that we think will be a perfect match. As we expect a number of applicants from good homes many people will be disappointed ( which cannot be avoided unfortunately), but we are looking for a PERFECT match not just for now but lasting over the next 15 years, not just a good match.
Our ultimate decision will not be influenced by the number of times people have applied and missed out or whether they applied first but whether or not they are the BEST match. Please do not take offence if you are not chosen - this only means that there was a perfect match not just a good match.
So, as we are volunteers, it is hard to reply to so many applicants so if the home is not appropriate, then your email wont be responded to sorry.
We expect this process to take 4 weeks or so and may at times put the pups on hold as we sort through the applications please do NOT reapply.
We will NOT be taking phone calls with regards to these pups, only email applications via Petrescue.
