IMPORTANT NOTICE

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING FOR A DOG

We are very concerned about the health of our volunteers and their families.
To protect them, we require you to read the following and answer honestly before any meet and greets can be organised.

IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS

Any of these symptoms, or any family member displaying, we ask you to wait before applying for a dog -

* Coughing or sneezing
* runny or blocked nose
* shortness of breath
* high temperature or fever
* sore throat
* aches or pains
* other flu like symptoms

If you have returned from overseas or been on a cruise anywhere in the world, please do not apply within 2 weeks of your return to Australia.

If you are in self isolation, please do not apply, you need to stay at home.

Thank you for valuing our carers health, knowing that a false declaration will endanger them and any future animals that we would be unable to help.

Shadow Boxer is a very funny, happy, mischievous pup who loves more than anything to be with his humans.

He has suffered from ongoing bowel issues from a young age.
Since being in care, with a carefully planned diet, his stools have been getting better and he has been putting on weight and looking fabulous. His diet is going to be something that will need to be monitored carefully.

Shadow Boxer can get anxious when left alone for long periods, so he will need to be in a home with people around for most of the day.

He has been playing with many different dogs and getting along really well with all of them.
However, he is a big boy, and getting bigger, and is better suited to other large breed dogs or solid mediums.

He is toilet trained, crate trained and an absolute joy to have around. Loves to snuggle on the couch or just rubbing up against you.
