Hi my name is Tanuki,

I came from a place where I wasn't very well looked after, so the rescue had to give me a big makeover. Even though I miss my fur, I feel a million times better and I know it will grow back. My previous home, before rescue, I had a few doggy friends and we got along really well. I am not really sure how I would go with bigger dogs or kitty cats so I think I would prefer to be the only dog in the home.

I am looking for a quiet life with a retired couple that have no kids as they may scare me when I can't see them, they touch me from behind or try to pick me up. I can see really well out of my one eye, but I am still getting used to people so will need someone who will be patient with me until I get confident in my surroundings. At the moment, if you touch me from behind or try to pick me up it gives me a bit of a fright but I will improve
