Harry is a 3 year old Lab Cross that is looking for a loving home where he can be an only dog in the household.

Loyal and obedient are just 2 words to perfectly describe Harry. He is a very loyal boy who enjoys being by his owners side. Harry can sit on command, will sit and wait before eating and generally listens to simple commands from his owner.

Harry is house trained and will happily sleep just about anywhere. He is okay with being at home in a secure yard whilst his owner is at work, as long as he gets lots of attention once you return home!!

He does need some further training to walk on a lead without pulling, however he is very food driven so will respond well.

Harry can be quite anxious around other dogs so will need to go to a home where he is the only dog. Dog parks and off leash areas can be quite confronting for Harry so must be avoided.

Harry is a sweet boy but he does have some anxiety due to his past. He takes a while to warm up to strangers and he will need a patient and caring owner to help settle him into his new home and to build his confidence up. Once Harry gets to know you, he shows no hesitation in approaching you for treats and to request pats.

After Harry has settled in to his new home, his owner will need to gradually expose him to new people and environments with plenty of reassurance (and treats) along the way. Keeping in mind that Harry will probably never be comfortable in some settings such as a dog park.

Once Harry trusts you, he will be loyal for life.

Harry would be a loyal companion for someone that doesn’t have any other pets and is willing to give him time, patience and love.
