PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING FOR A DOG

We are very concerned about the health of our volunteers and their families.
To protect them, we require you to read the following and answer honestly before any meet and greets can be organised.

IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS

Any of these symptoms, or any family member displaying, we ask you to wait before applying for a dog -

* Coughing or sneezing
* runny or blocked nose
* shortness of breath
* high temperature or fever
* sore throat
* aches or pains
* other flu like symptoms

If you have returned from overseas or been on a cruise anywhere in the world, please do not apply within 2 weeks of your return to Australia.

If you are in self isolation, please do not apply, you need to stay at home.

Thank you for valuing our carers health, knowing that a false declaration will endanger them and any future animals that we would be unable to help.

Hi my name is Ta and I am a happy, playful Boxer cross. I love to chase toys (but don't always bring them back!) and absolutely adore cuddles - I will even try and curl up in your lap if you'll let me!

I am good with basic commands and am house trained. I would benefit from a patient owner prepared to continue my training on the lead as I can get excited when I see other dogs/kids etc but don't worry, I am a quick learner and have come a long way in my 2 weeks in foster care.

I like to play rough and tumble and can be dominant with other dogs as I'm still learning how to make friends. I would need to be in an only-dog family, or with an owner experienced in socialising dog behaviour and slow introductions. I am not the kind of dog to take to the off-lead dog park.

As I am quite strong and curious, I need a home with no kids under 10, but I have a lot of love to give and my foster parents say I'm an absolute joy.
