About Diesel ~ loving 18mo Staffy x (On Trial 30/05/20)
Meet Diesel, an 18 month old Staffy x with a whole lot of love to give. Diesel is a friendly and playful boy who is at his happiest when he is snuggling on the lounge with his foster ma.
Diesel is a bit of an attention seeker. He likes to follow you around the house and be in the same room as you, often in very close proximity. Diesel just wants to be loved and cared for and have humans to call his family. Diesel has some separation anxiety and would prefer a home where his humans are either at home most of the time or are committed to his separation training.
Diesel loves his daily walk/runs and can be a little bit strong on the lead initially but settles within a couple of minutes. Due to his size (approx. 35kgs) a harness or halti is recommended to make things easier. Diesel loves nothing more than a visit to the dog park or beach so he can play with other dogs and is quickly learning how to read dog body language and how to be polite.
Diesel has had some basic training but will jump up when excited and will benefit from an owner who will establish a good routine and boundaries for him to follow. Diesel is very smart and eager to learn especially if treats are involved.
Diesel is friendly with humans, but at this stage is probably a bit too big and boisterous for young children and would be best suited to a family with older children or an active couple who will give him a tonne of attention, training and exercise.
If you think this beautiful big boy may be the one for you, then please submit an adoption questionnaire at https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt or contact Rhiannon on

Diesel’s adoption fee is $350 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped. Diesel is currently in care in the Newcastle area, NSW.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
