About Charlene
Caught by a caring soul who had stray cats coming onto their property, Charlene the champagne blonde spent her 8 days at the pound wondering what would come of her. She was so exceptional, that she was passed for the pounds adoption program but we wanted to adopt her out ourselves (we like to take our cats right through where possible).
So a little about Charlene. 4 years old. Floofy. Blonde. named after the Charlene from Neighbours (yes the 80s iteration of the show). She's sweet, she's friendly, she snores, she grumbles sometimes, she loves her food, can be found snoozing on the bed whenever possible, best friends with Sonnet the black & white kitten in her foster home (they'd love to find a home together!), and is good with kids. Not tested with dogs, but we believe she'd hold her own easily with a cat friendly dog.
If you're looking for a great family cat that's good with her boundaries, but very loving and cuddly, and soft to pat and brush (oh that fur!! it's divine!), Charlene is the princess... sorry cat for you. So what are you waiting for? Send the enquiry now, Charlene is waiting!
Charlene is a healthy raw fed cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000012174618, source #EE101165). She is available for adoption right now!
------------------------------------------------------
To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a remote or in-person house check done, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
