PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING FOR A DOG

We are very concerned about the health of our volunteers and their families.
To protect them, we require you to read the following and answer honestly before any meet and greets can be organised.

IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS

Any of these symptoms, or any family member displaying, we ask you to wait before applying for a dog -

* Coughing or sneezing
* runny or blocked nose
* shortness of breath
* high temperature or fever
* sore throat
* aches or pains
* other flu like symptoms

If you have returned from overseas or been on a cruise anywhere in the world, please do not apply within 2 weeks of your return to Australia.

If you are in self isolation, please do not apply, you need to stay at home.

Thank you for valuing our carers health, knowing that a false declaration will endanger them and any future animals that we would be unable to help.

Jacket is a sweet, timid and affectionate youngster who is loved by all who meet him, including the resident cat and dog. He is great with children and is looking for a home with another resident dog to learn from and people who he can be a constant companion to.

Jacket looks to his staffy foster brother to give him reassurance and confidence when meeting new people, without this guidance he can be very unsure and want to hide. He tends to be more comfortable meeting females than males, and will take time and understanding to settle into his new home.

Once that trust is there he loves nothing more than a snuggle and is a gentle lad. Jacket has taken to learning new things really well and will benefit from continuing his schooling. He has started discovering the delights chewing and playing can bring and really is an absolute treasure.
