About Allie
ALLIE
Cute to boot and cheeky too! Allie is a sweet little girl who can turn on the charm and melt your heart. She is a happy ball of playfulness. Her favourite things include ropes, squeaky toys, and having lots of snuggles and human cuddles.
Allie loves hanging out with people and other animals. She is good with other dogs and loves to run and play with them. She also likes cats and wishes they would run and play with her like her dog friends. Allies fun loving nature would best suit an active family who can also provide her with lots of fun physical and mental stimulation. Allie has been in a foster home with older children so is not yet used to being gentle enough for small kid play.
Allie is super smart and willing to please. She can walk on lead, knows how to sit, can wait for food, is crate trained for night sleeps, and has good recall. Allie is improving with her toilet training but will need constant reminders to help her learn.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment after covid please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.
We have listed Effie and her siblings as Kelpie x although due to not knowing her history this is a guess however, we have conducted DNA testing and are awaiting results. Results will be provided to their new families when received. Our guess is there is a working/herding breed in there along with maybe staghound and perhaps a smidge of Shepherd. Reality is your guess might be as good as ours though, they will most likely be Med/lge as adults. These puppies will need a very large backyard at the minimum, please do not apply if you cannot offer this.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
