About Juni DB563
Juni is a 3 year old border collie / heeler / kelpie cross!
Juni wouldn't suit the lifestyle of a full-time worker. This energetic dog is seeking a caring, active family home that has the space and a garden for her to run and play. For someone who leads a lifestyle on the go and wants a sidekick (that may be hard to keep up with), Juni would be perfect.
Her mix of working breeds means she is active, athletic and intelligent. She would probably do very well at agility or a similar activity, perhaps a great running partner or hiking buddy. She is full of potential. It is imperative that Juni is given plenty of time, training, stimulation, interaction, regular exercise and companionship. Juni LOVES her ball! Playtime is a must but she may sometimes need time out from playing as she can be a bit obsessed with the ball so varying her play with some tug-o-war or mental enrichment games would be well advised.
Juni is timid when first meeting new people so requires patience and understanding so she can develop her trust. She just needs to be allowed to warm up to you in her own time. Once her trust is gained she is a sweet, affectionate girl and adores her interaction with you.
Outside of the home, Juni appears to be dog friendly and has a playful nature but can be a bit possessive of her humans so would prefer to be an only pet at home. Juni is not suitable to be re-homed with cats or other small animals due to her curiosity and tendency to chase. Juni should be fine with older children.
The right owner(s) will be rewarded with loyalty, love and plenty of cuddles from Juni as she really is a beautiful, sensitive and caring dog.
