About Bailey ~ 5mo Staffy x Rotty pup (On Trial 23/5/20)
Bailey is a beautiful 5 month old Staffy x Rottweiler and is looking for her forever home. She is a playful girl that will really thrive with her new owners and a place to call her own.
Although she can be timid when meeting new people and dogs, she absolutely adores her carers and foster siblings, and wants to be part of the family. She is very affectionate to her foster carers and we can only imagine how much she will love her forever family.
Bailey is a very active puppy who will grow to be a medium to large dog. She will benefit greatly from training. She has learnt to sit and shake, and she loves to chase a ball. She is also house trained. She is slowly learning how to behave inside the house, but needs reminding not to jump on the furniture.
Bailey needs a slow introduction to other dogs and can be very timid at first, once she is comfortable with them there is no holding her back. Bailey would benefit greatly if her new family has a desexed adult male dog for companionship and guidance.
Bailey is currently living with a family with 2 teenagers, and would be best suited to a family with children over 10 due to her solid build and playfulness. She has not been introduced to cats or pocket pets.
Bailey will need a securely fenced yard with 5-6ft fencing.
Bailey is going to make an incredibly loyal and loving addition to her new home.
As Bailey is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
