About Baxter
This 8-week-old boy is currently loved and adored by his foster carers, since he was 6 weeks old. Baxter has 1 sister Baby that has been with him since he was taken into care.
He is fully litter trained old and doesn’t seem to be phased by another resident cat.
Baxter has been socialised with resident 2-year old cat Winnie, whom enjoys being groomed and licked by her.
Baxter has a sweet soul and has jumped leaps and bounds in his socialisation. He loves to feel safe and when approached with trust, he is learning to understand that being pat isn’t with threat. You will see his personality packs a punch, when he is playing “rough and tumble” with his sister on the cat tower. He follows the lead of his sister and ultimately Baby is his best friend, with all games they play. Baxter loves to explore areas he feels safe and is deep down a cheeky little boy!
Baxter is still quite small therefore his play times are high intensity and in short bursts, with plenty of time being spent sleeping after “cat dreaming”. He is very much bonded to his sister Baby and as such, both Baby and Baxter are looking for their forever home as a pair.
Baxter will benefit from being in a home that can be patient with continuing to nurture his developing personality, and interact with him to further aid socialisation with humans. With a lot of love, he will continue to learn that the circumstances during the start of his life (before being rescued) was just a distant memory.
Baxter will be suited to families that can give him plenty of attention and is looking for a loyal companion.
Medical notes
Baxter is a healthy and happy kitten. Baxter's adoption fee covers his de sexing, microchipping, vaccinations, flea and worming treatment.
Baxter is available for adoption with his siblings Baby, for the discounted adoption fee of $300 for the pair.
