On Hold
Charlotte was surrendered to the RSPCA as she was quite underweight and had some health problems that the owner could not get fixed. When Charlotte was desexed it was discovered that she had Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome, which was the cause of some of her problems. Had she been speyed earlier in life as recommended by the RSPCA, this could have been avoided.
Charlotte was placed into foster care with one of the RSPCA's lovely volunteers. She was a lovely house guest, and enjoyed walking and relaxing with her human friend. Charlotte was respectful of other dogs whilst on lead, but can be intrusive and overbearing when off lead. She has not had much training, so it would be recommended that she be given consistent, positive training in her new home. Because she can be jumpy and does not know boundaries, it is recommended that she is rehomed to a family with older children (over 10 years old) or no children at all. With training, she will learn not to jump and be so rough.
