About Sonnet
Sweet Sonnet was found alone and scared and handed in to council, who handed her to our vet to come to rescue. Sonnet was terrified when she first came into care, she could barely move. She was put in a safe crate and left to come out in her own time... when she did she had the most fearsome terrifying growl! She would unleash this horrific noise when other kittens got too close, to warn them off. The carer couldn't believe such a tiny cat made such a huge scary noise!
Sonnet has realised now that she doesn't have to scare off the other cats, or the humans and in fact, we're all pretty good really. She's out of the safe crate and running around the house happily, sunning herself and eating and playing and having a great life. Sonnet now sleeps next to or on the the carers pillow (depends how cold it is at night) and loves a cuddle and pat. And her food! Oh my goodness she loves her food.
Sonnet will never entirely stop being cautious, having had such a rough start. You can't bend down and pick her up if you're standing up and she's on the floor, but if she's above floor height you can. This will get better with time and patience. Other than that one quirk, Sonnet is a sweet loving adorable little miniature cat who's looking for her forever home where she can love up her humans for the rest of her life. Is it you? Are you the one for Sonnet?
Sonnet is a healthy raw fed kitten who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000010477077, source #EE101165). She is available for adoption right now!
