About 2018 - Butterscotch
🧡✨MEET BUTTERSCOTCH 🧡✨
Hi, my name is Butterscotch. My story is a very sad one. The family who I trusted abandoned me. I waited at the back door hoping they would remember me, and come back and get me. For three months I waited and waited for them to come back but they didn’t. The other cats in the street were really mean to me as well and beat me up. Then a nice hoo-man who lived next door helped me and Perth Rescue Angels came to my rescue. Now I would just like to live in a nice quiet home. I want love all day and a special hoo-man to call my own.
You’ll notice I only have one eye I think that adds character, which I am! I also need to let you know that I have FIV. So I do need extra special care.
Companions
Due to my bad experience I am very suspicious of other furry companions so it would be best if I was the only pet in the home. Then I get to eat ALL the food haha.
Likes/Dislikes
I like long pats from my hoo-mans and I just love chicken. That’s very yummy.
I like to see what my hoo-mans are doing during the day and be around them.
I don’t like being alone and I don’t like dark rooms.

2018 - Butterscotch
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Tabby & White
DOB: 23/12/2015
Adoption Fee: $125
*Butterscotch’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment
Medical Notes: Butterscotch has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect his immune system, however, he can still potentially live a long healthy life. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Due to his FIV Butterscotch will need to be an indoor only cat. Butterscotch does not get along with other cats so must go to a home with no other cats.
Butterscotch has had one eye removed due to microphthalmia, an eye abnormality where an eyeball is abnormally small. Due to this, he will need to be a strictly indoor cat only, although may enjoy access to a fully enclosed cat run.
Perth Rescue Angels recommends Advantage, Advocate, and Drontal from Bayer for all your new furry family members' flea and worming needs.
