About Honey ~ beautiful 3yo Staffy x (On Trial 20/5/20)
Honey is a lovely 3 year old Staffy x. You will never regret bringing this gorgeous girl into your life!
Honey is just a beautiful all-round great dog. She is a gentle, loving, and adorable fun girl. She greets you with a big smile and half her body wags as well as her tail. She only barks when there is something to bark at. She will stop when commanded to fairly easily.
Honey absolutely loves the beach and is not afraid of the water in any way. She also loves her cuddles both giving them and receiving them.
Honey is not overly keen of other dogs (it is thought she may have been attacked when
young). She will need patient ongoing help and training for her to stop just automatically growling at other dogs, BUT she is getting better every day, and yummy tasty treats help! I am sure with regular interaction and training she will be fine.
Honey is taken out every day for a walk and to play fetch which she loves and she returns the ball 98% of the time.
She could go to a family with children to play with...or not, she is alone with her foster
mum and loves that too.
Honey is pretty good on the lead; but will only get even better with ongoing training. She waits at road edges, with the “wait’ command. She is house trained, and she will wait for her food. She is a quiet sleeper and is happy with you on the bed or curled up in a bed on the floor.
She so deserves to be loved and pampered for the rest of her life, and I promise you, you will never regret giving her a loving furever home. Do yourself a favour and meet this beautiful girl, she will melt your heart.
Honey is currently in care in the Newcastle area, NSW. For more information, email Sue at kiwi65@gmail.com or you can fill out the adoption form online at https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
