About Jack ~loving 3yo American Staffy (On Trial 13/6/20
Meet Jack, a 3 year old American Staffy. He's a handsome and very loving young guy who only wants to be with you.
Jack came to us from a young family that couldn’t give him the love and attention that he needed and had no other options for him.
He is really a big boofhead that needs to be a part of the family as much as possible. Given his size and strength, he needs someone who understands his breed and is able to handle his excitement.
Jack has a bit of energy to burn being a young guy, so he will need to be walked everyday and need some enrichment during the day if left alone.
Jack's perfect fit would be with a young couple or family who can take him on adventures, let him sleep inside and be included as much as possible. He just wants to be with his humans.
He has been around very young kids his whole life (with supervision) and has never had any issues, but with his excitement he could bump them from time to time. He currently lives with an 11yr old foster human sister who he adores.
Jack is selective with his dog friends and does need ongoing manners with other dogs. We are open to other female dogs that are more tolerant, but right how he would be okay to just be on his own as he loves humans.
He is very responsive to basic commands and he listens. Jack loves treats which will make ongoing training easier with him.
Jack would benefit from someone being home more often than not, just like a lot of staffy breeds they love their humans and want to be right there with them.
So in short if you want a big boofhead to cuddle, love and be your new loyal best friend then Jack is your man.
