About Porter
Porter is a gentle, kind loving dog who has been living in a foster home in a townhouse in Newtown. He loves a lot of affection and company and enjoys his daily walks - oh and loves to snooze! Well, lots of snoozes actually.
He is good-natured, quiet, well behaved around other dogs and very relaxed.
He is suited to someone who is home a lot of the time post COVID (he is a bit of a shadow!) and would benefit from a backyard of some type so no units, please.
He needs a kind understanding home as sometimes life can be a little too much for him however, he is coming around thanks to his wonderful foster mum. So if you have a quiet home with no children or other dogs and are happy to invest a little time into him, he will repay you back tenfold with so much more. All of our greyhounds are desexed, vaccinated, heartworm tested and have a full dental before rehoming. They are also lifetime registered in New South Wales once they have settled into their new homes.
****Cats***** - Our regional dogs are not tested with cats due to not having the facility or resources. For that reason, we are unable to place any of our dogs in a cat home. For a cat-friendly greyhound, please contact our head office at gapnsw.com.au to go on the waitlist.
