Bosco is a super sweet, high energy 2 year old Wolfhound X who just LOVES tummy rubs!
He is well mannered, house trained and knows how to sit, stay, up, gentle, no, wait and bed.
He can get quite excited/boisterous and with that often forgets his commands but once he calms down he gets back on track. He is responding very well to training
We recommend his ongoing training to ensure he develops to his full potential

Bosco loves his humans and is happiest when he is around them. He is great with kids but due to his size, older kids might be better. He would suit a family with some space so not a tiny yard for him to run around all day or an active family who can take him for big walks at least every second day. He sleeps soundly at night in the house but isn't a big fan of being restricted to just 1 room e.g. the laundry. He has been sleeping in the lounge room every night and stays on his bed until we get up. He has never had a toilet accident inside while being fostered.

He is very dog reactive so would need to be the only dog in the home. He walks ok with a harness but we have found a Slip chain to work better, only because he lunges when he sees other dogs. He is VERY strong so some training would be highly beneficial.
He's not one to bark, only seems to bark in response of other dogs barking. He is fine in the yard with dogs next door.

Bosco loves peanut butter as a treat on a spoon or popped in one of his Kong's with dry food.. even a bit of peanut butter toast! He loves Roo tails as well. He sits patiently at meal time waiting for his food and doesn't hover around while you're eating.

He is not destructive (although can dig a little) and is happy being outside during the day with a Kong or 2 to keep him occupied - he needs the stimulation, being a typical 2 year old.
He has been known to show his displeasure if you're inside and he's outside.

Bosco is an absolute darling boy and would make any family complete.

The home we are seeking for this beautiful bi bog is an only dog home !!!
As we said this big beautiful boy is dog reactive so can only go to a single dog home only
We have not tested him with cats but suggest he would be the same with cats
His new family MUST have had large dog experience as he is a big stocky fella and when walking if he sees another dog will pull
The best way to mange this is to turn around and walk the other way
This being the case a home where there is not an abundance of dogs in the neighbourhood is best so when you are out on a walk you have less issues
