About Hugo & Oliver (Bonded Pair)
We are looking for an extra special home for these babies....Hugo & Oliver arrived in care almost 2 months ago. Rescued by angels after being thrown in a river, left to drown. What they had endured prior to this is unknown, but their fear of humans explains alot.
Whilst they may never be super cuddly and affectionate cats, once they gain your trust and feel comfortable in their surroundings, they do enjoy pats and Oliver is already engaging in playtime with his foster family. Hugo would still much prefer to play with his brother and host cat. Both boys will take food from their carers hands and never hissed, swiped or bitten, they simply freeze, once in your arms.
Hugo (orange bell) - is less trusting than his brother Oliver (blue bell). His progress has been slower, but is now starting to purr when being held and enjoying belly rubs when relaxed. He is happy to do his own thing during the day and will often curl up alongside Oliver in a sunny position in the home, soaking up the sunshine. He loves to play with toys and of course, chasing and rumbling with Oliver! Hugo will find an escape route (within the home) if he thinks you're approaching him for a pat or cuddle, but once you have him in your arms, he will accept all the pats on offer. We are hopeful that one day, he will no longer feel the need to run from this.
Oliver (blue bell) - has made some real progress during his time in care. He will now approach his carer when sitting on the floor and accept pats and cuddles. He is still very scared when approached, but will stay in your arms for as long as you keep patting him! Oliver is a gorgeous boy and gets along well with his brother and host cats.
Hugo and Oliver are litter trained and keep themselves well groomed at all times. They have beautiful soft coats, fluffy tails and very similar markings.
Their carer has worked hard in forming a bond over the past couple of months, but we know that once they move to their new home, this will start all over again, so the sooner we can get them settled into their Forever home, the better! 🏠
These boys will need a calm home...and one with patience, love and commitment. They have not been exposed to young children, but given their fear around people, we don't feel this would be a suitable home.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer these gorgeous boys. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
