About Stella
Hi Everyone! My name is Stella and I am a 9 year old Australian Bulldog
Stella is looking for a home where she can be the only dog and get all your affection and attention. This is great for those of you who only want one dog. (Stella is not friendly with other dogs)
Stella has had a bit of a hard life prior to coming into care but since being in care Stella has discovered kisses and cuddles and she is defintely keen to have that continue!
Stella absolutely love all of the attention, is there even such a thing as too many cuddles and kisses? She will also make a good hot water bottle and will keep you warm during the night while snuggled up on the lounge with you watching TV.
Stella is also a great fur nanny with kids - she will happily volunteer to sleep with one or near one if needed and is the first to check on the kids each morning at her foster home.
Stella would love a home where she can spend as much time as possible with her human companion/s. So ideally someone who works from home, stay home parent or is retired would be ideal for Stella.
Stella is toilet trained and always looks at you with loving eyes, toothy grin and a wiggly bottom.
And of course like an true Aussie Bulldog she will snore like a freight train!
Stella is easy to walk and understands her commands - obviously at her age she is not up for long walks but defintely enjoys a stroll.
Some musts:-
Stella love to hang out with her humans and very much needs to sleeping inside
Being a bulldog they readily overheat and have breathing difficulties in hot weather, and they chill easily in cold temperatures so a home where there is air conditioning is a must.
Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.

Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
