Basil ~ 12 week old male kitten (On Trial 8/5/20)

Meet Basil, a gorgeous black kitten who is looking for a place to call home. He was born under a house and has been living with a foster carer for the last month with two of his siblings.

Basil has been in our care for the last month, coming in as a scared and very timid kitten. He is a very shy kitten who enjoys playing on his own terms. He enjoys the company of other kittens and cats, so adopting him into a house with another cat would be perfect. Slow introductions and constant attention would be perfect for Basil. He has grown up with other kittens but hasn’t been around any dogs.

Basil has a big appetite but will usually let his siblings eat first. He loves to play and hang out around people and is slowly showing more and more affection. He is still frightened when approached quickly or hears something loud so wouldn’t be suitable for a house with young children or dogs.

He definitely does enjoy being rugged up and cuddled when he’s tired or feeling rather affectionate and will start purring away. He loves a head scratch and pats and would meow if he isn’t receiving enough of them.
