About Minke
I am Minke. I am not your normal cat as I am deaf. I am a large white cat ( in fact my foster mum has a black cat who saw me and thinks he has seen a ghost) I have one very pale blue eye and one golden eye. I am simply a stunning looking man.
I am looking for a new home and hope that someone out there is looking for a cat that is basically independent but also in need of companionship. I am not a cuddly type of guy but I will love talking to you and weave around your legs and I am on a regular basis in need of pats and head rubs. I also am happy to jump up and sit with you for night TV viewing ( I would be interested to know what your favourite shows are) I think that cat experienced people will know exactly where I am coming from.
I would really like to be scooped up and carried away to my forever home. If you would like to meet me dont be shy, apply now. I am in foster care at Seven Hills.
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me from death row and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats to re-home them either directly from a pound or from our foster carers. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Preadoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Forms will be emailed to you on request.
