About May ~ lovely Sharpei x puppy (On Trial 16/5/20)
May is a healthy, friendly Sharpei x puppy who is the smallest of the litter, but has the cheekiest personality.
Mini May, as she is affectionately known, has been raised in a home environment and has been well socialised with other puppies and people and gets along with them all. She loves people and cuddles. She enjoys romping with her siblings and she will follow you everywhere. May is the bravest of her siblings and needs supervision to stop her getting up to mischief! She is always happy and is the only pup in the litter to have a full tail which she is constantly wagging.
May has been in care since she was just a few days old. Her mother has a lovely personality and is a Sharpei x Staffy. She has been a wonderful Mum to her pups. The father was a Rottweiler.
May is very intelligent and will be easy to train as she just wants to please. She is not yet toilet trained but she will learn quickly as she gets older. May is teething and she likes to chew everything. She will grow into a medium size dog so ongoing training and socialisation are important. She will need a big yard with high secure fencing to keep her safe. No rural style fencing. May is a very healthy pup with high energy levels. She will need daily exercise outside the home to keep her both physically and mentally healthy and happy.
May needs an owner who is home during the day and she would love a friendly, playful adult dog as a teacher and companion. She would be too lonely if she was left on her own and she would be likely to get stressed. May would be great with children but she is going through the jumpy, bitey puppy stage so would she would be more suitable to older children.
May needs to be welcome inside when people are home and to sleep inside at least until she is an adult.
If you are after a loving and playful companion then May is the puppy for you.
