About Ruby
Ruby is down as a boxer x mastiff.
Ruby is a gentle, kind natured girl who is discovering herself after having a big litter of puppies. Ruby is learning to play with toys and has recently discovered a love for bones to keep her teeth healthy. She's social with other dogs and safe around other animals such as lambs, chickens and horses with supervision. Ruby loves nothing more than to curl up on her bed in the sun for some rest and relaxation. She loves every bit of attention and affection she can get. She is good on a lead but can wonder if she's let off but she's learning to come back when called. Ruby is one contented dog who would love to enjoy life's pleasures at a home with or without other pets. PLEASE NOTE: We are located in BATLOW NSW. You will need to be able to get here.
Medical notes
Ruby has a skin complaint but with medical help it has come good. It will need to be monitored.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. Just tell us the animal you are looking at and all about you, your family, other pets (desexed, breed, vaccination, etc), yard, renting?, work etc, no long drawn out forms.
Even though you may be first to email, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra. You must be able to drive to Batlow NSW for pick up asap.
