PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING FOR A DOG

We are very concerned about the health of our volunteers and their families.
To protect them, we require you to read the following and answer honestly before any meet and greets can be organised.

IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS

Any of these symptoms, or any family member displaying, we ask you to wait before applying for a dog -

* Coughing or sneezing
* runny or blocked nose
* shortness of breath
* high temperature or fever
* sore throat
* aches or pains
* other flu like symptoms

If you have returned from overseas or been on a cruise anywhere in the world, please do not apply within 2 weeks of your return to Australia.

If you are in self isolation, please do not apply, you need to stay at home.

Thank you for valuing our carers health, knowing that a false declaration will endanger them and any future animals that we would be unable to help.

Hi there, I'm Fawkes.

I am a sweet, loving boy who has a gentle nature. I am all legs and resemble the character Scooby Doo.

I’m in my prime for some serious training. I am super clever, a quick learner and I thrive on praise. I have been around other dogs but because of my size & boldness (and inability to read other dogs body language) I need to be managed as I get over excited.

I can sit, shake hands and wait for my food and going in and out of doors. I have been working on walking on a halti and being taught to give. I love to play Tug-O-War, especially with a long rope toy. I am currently being taught how to give it back.

Being super clever, I need a structured home and an experienced handler to get the best out of me.

My ideal home would be high fenced yard, preferably with older children and someone who can commit to ongoing training. As I love company, I would be best suited to someone who does not work full time. I have not met any cats.
