Isabella

A heavily pregnant Isabella came in to our care at the end of March from a rural pound. She was going to be another statistic this crisis is inadvertently causing.
They were “shutting up shop” and the vet had been called.One of our volunteers spent the day trying to coordinate getting her and 4 others to safety. With all planes grounded and 1800km of road between them and us, we used our last miracle.

There was no way any of them were dying in the pound if we could help it. This girl with the brightest green eyes has been resting, and living it up with her wonderful carers.

Gorgeous Isabella is estimated at around three years of age. She has a lovely soft coat with lovely colours and her eyes are like emeralds.

Isabella is quite a chill cat.The only thing we've determined she doesn't much like is the vacuum cleaner! After some initial hisses she's happily accepted the other cats in her foster household. She also doesn't appear phased by the big dog outside the back door. She is also extremely tolerant of children.

Isabella is content with her own company but also loves pats if they're on offer. Her favourite spot is on the window sill in the sunshine. She's currently nursing kittens and will be available once they're weaned, so early June.
